‘Just and equitable society in a green and clean earth’ is our vision. Since visions are not day dreams, it has to have logical feet to stand on. “Co-operation, not cohersion’ – are our guiding words. Contrary to today’s rat-race mind-set, we endeavour to nurture the young ones amid a symbiotic ambience. To that end there have been provisions for year-round camps (both indoor and outdoor), workshops and seminers by experts of relevant disciplines. Besides, we arrange for students and parents’ counselling sessions. But above all, to inculcate value education we provide enough scope and space for socialisation so that they are not occupied by selfish and/or self-centric make up. Regular interaction and mix-up with the underprivileged and untaken care might be of great value, we believe. Undergoing all these and so for a couple of years could be instumental in the emergence of a qualitative and formidable social force in and are the visinity which again in turn may explore to materialize a just and equitable society in the long run, we suppose. Only vision is not not enough. So initiatives are on, day in and day out. Have your eyes on them . They follow:
Potential, if blended with creativity, elevetes a soul to such a zenith that demeaning forces hardly dare to make inroad. With our experts fortfieted with innovativeness, perinial attempts are on to curve out creative genius in every self. A creative one is expected to crack a crisis often in an unarthodox approach that their success rate scates higher in the graph. Since life had never been bed of roses and since tough days are ahead role of creativity assues larger importance with the time. Taking all these in count Sarsuna The Last Supper School has been ardent in applying creativity both in the curriculam and outside the four walls.
Although every education carries value, yet Value Education is somewhat that studds education with moral and social values. Imparting education in such a way that the pupils are not occupied with mere ‘Earn more Spend more’. Rather a sense of togetherness and fellow-feeling are what we are aspirant of inculcating among the generation ‘Y’. Becoming a careerist is not enough, reaching out high and low, length and breadth of the society and above all, learning to make the world habitable are going to be of immense value in near future. Through education, we want them to grow up with sharing attitude and notes of life style management.
Holding/Arranging camps both in-house and in the open at regular intervals builds up a sense of togetherness, cements bonding among the campers. Contrary to bringing up a mere book-warm, campers got the jovial opportunity to take part in hiking, trekking, identifying flora and fauna, sky-watching, night-walking and so on. Education becomes a pleasure and more direct.
Again workshops managed and led by experts in their respective disciplines are of enormous value for the participants. Normally, workshops are subject specific such as – painting, sculpture, science-modelling story and rhyme building and so on. We usually take participant both from school’s enrolled candidates and marginalised on for knowing each other and mixing without prejudice.
Be it in Education, or in Creative Performance or even in Social Service, research is inherent and inseparable part. We have broken the barrier of conventions. In holding Camps and Workshops, we get fantastic opportunities to apply our innovative ideas. In fact, our modus operandi in approaching every sector has undergone thorough change. But for a research orientation, it would have hardly been practicable. Evaluation of performances and thereafter introduction of innovative measures are initiated regularly to revamp the shortcomings.
